Sam Drazin
Sam was born with Treacher Collins Syndrome, a rare congenital condition that causes facial differences and hearing loss. He knows what it's like to be the student who looks and feels different.
That experience led him to teaching. As an elementary teacher in Vermont's public schools, he saw firsthand how much kids needed more equitable, empathetic and inclusive classrooms. So in 2013 he founded Changing Perspectives.
Today Sam is an internationally recognized educator and changemaker, working with students and educators around the world.
"Everyone deserves a standing ovation."
We provide support to every member of a school community to foster social-emotional learning and grow students into changemakers and leaders for inclusion and kindness.
